First of all, thanks for using EasyTrans.org!

This web page has been named with a reason, the idea was to make a dictionary as easy and functional as possible. Therefore the name EasyTrans.org You don't need to indicate what language you want to search from or to, simply write the word in the search box in English, Spanish or Norwegian, and hit enter! Then our secretary, which by the way work really fast, looks up the word in three dictionaries at the same time! The best part is if the same word has different meanings in the different languages, well guess what, we display them all.

Take for example the word "grave". This word has totally different meanings in the different languages and would be displayed like this:

As you might have noticed we have just added a Swedish flag to EasyTrans.org. This is because we are going to implement Swedish words to our dictionary. Doing this might take some time, so please be patient. :P

Logical functionality of the dictionary:

All nouns are listed in their indefinite singular form without any article. Examples:

English: house, boy, girl, tree, chair.
Spanish: casa, hijo, hija, árbol, silla.
Norwegian: hus, gutt, jente, tre, stol.

All verbs are listed as infinitive, without the infinitive marker "to" (in English) and "å" (in Norwegian). Examples:

English: go, eat, jump, run, drink.
Spanish: ir, comer, saltar, correr, beber.
Norwegian: gå, spise, hoppe, løpe, drikke.

Adjectives are listed as masculine in Spanish and Norwegian. Examples:

English: big, small, blue, rich.
Spanish: grande, pequeño, azul, rico.
Norwegian: stor, liten, blå, rik.

The dictionary translate single words and simple expressions. Examples:

English: in long term, I love you, I hate you.
Spanish: en largo plazo, te quiero, te odio.
Norwegian: på lang sikt, jeg elsker deg, jeg hater deg.

Remember special caracters:

Known Spanish caracters: ñ, í, ü, á, é, ó, ú.
Known Norwegian caracters: æ, ø, å.
